Right of withdrawal

How the statutory cooling-off period works for a service you ask us to perform immediately.

Last updated: 3 July 2026

How it works, in plain language

For online purchases you normally have a 14-day cooling-off period as a consumer. Our service is a digital service: immediately after your payment we purchase the e-vignette for you from the official operator, so that you can get on the road as quickly as possible. That is why we expressly ask you for immediate performance when you order. You confirm this by ticking the agreement line in the ordering step ("I agree to the terms and conditions and immediate performance").

The law attaches a logical consequence to this: once the service has been performed in full, your right of withdrawal lapses. Our service has been performed in full at the moment the vignette has been registered with the operator against your number plate. From that moment the vignette exists and cannot be undone, not even by us.

What this means for you

  • We have not yet purchased your vignette: you can cancel the order free of charge via your personal status page (link in the order confirmation). You will receive the full amount back, usually within 1 to 3 working days and within 14 days at the latest, via the payment method you used to pay. This is the quickest route and works without a form.
  • We have already purchased your vignette: the service has then been performed in full and withdrawal is no longer possible by law. Your status page always shows which stage your order is in.

Orders with a start date further in the future are sometimes purchased later (for example Switzerland, where we register on the chosen start date). Until that moment you can simply cancel free of charge or correct your number plate.

Withdrawing by email or with the model form

If you prefer to withdraw formally rather than cancel via the status page, you can do so within 14 days of concluding the contract by sending a clear statement to info@vignettehub.com, quoting your order number. You may use the statutory model form below for this, but you are not obliged to. Please note: the rule above also applies to a formal withdrawal; if the service has already been performed in full, withdrawal is no longer possible.
