WHY ONLY ONE VIGNETTE?
Switzerland only has an annual vignette. There is no 10-day or monthly variant, so even for a short holiday or transit you buy the annual vignette. It is generously valid though: from 1 December 2025 to 31 January 2027, fourteen months in total.
Please note: in Switzerland, a trailer or caravan needs its own vignette. In that case, order two, each on its own number plate.

No more sticker: the e-vignette is linked to your number plate in the Swiss register. Checks are automatic, there is nothing to show.

The annual vignette applies on all Swiss motorways and expressways, recognisable by the green signs. Ordinary roads and villages are vignette-free.
Fourteen months of driving
The 2026 vignette is valid from 1 December 2025 to 31 January 2027. So even for a winter sports trip in January 2027 you are covered.

TRAILER & CARAVAN
In Switzerland, a trailer or caravan needs its own vignette, even when towed behind your car. In that case, order two, each on its own number plate.
NO MORE STICKER
The e-vignette is digital and linked to your number plate. Nothing goes on the windscreen any more: cameras check automatically.
YOUR START DATE
A Swiss vignette is valid as soon as it is registered. That is why we register your vignette on exactly the date you choose; it is valid from that day.

Digital vignette on your number plate
No sticker on the windscreen. Your number plate is in the register of Swiss customs (BAZG) and is recognised automatically.
We register on your chosen start date
You choose the date on which the vignette should start. On that day we register it and you receive the proof by email. It is valid from that day.
Check your number plate carefully
The number plate is the vignette. A later correction goes through Swiss customs and is only possible to a very limited extent. That is why we ask you to enter the number plate twice.
Check it yourself
After delivery, you can always check your registration yourself via the official check on via.admin.ch. The link is in your delivery email.
